The Detroit Lions wanted to create a large lions head for the reveal of their new uniforms by Nike. Prop Art worked with an LA film company to create the 15’ tall polygonal lion’s head. The head was sculpted to match a 3D model. Accuracy was imperative because the film crew created an animation which was projected onto the surfaces of the sculpture. Silver screen paint gave the digital projections an impactful presence.
